The family are seeking a nanny with experience of caring for babies of this age, and is confident, caring and proactive with a good knowledge of early years, preferably with a relevant childcare qualification and training. Duties include providing the baby with a safe, secure and stimulating environment at all times, encouraging development and interaction. Some light household duties (folding laundry, emptying dishwasher etc). The ability to speak Polish and advantage but not a necessity. Start (two days a week) asap. SW3, Knightsbridge. Nanny required to look after a 7 month old baby boy. This is a long term position. An American family have just relocated to London and are looking for a full time nanny Monday - Friday8.30-6.30pm. The position will be a mixture of sole and shared care to start with whilst the mother is on maternity leave. If the nanny can drive this would be a bonus but is not essential.
The nanny must have recent baby experience and also be able to support the parents with weaning and be able to recognise all developmental milestones. There are local activities that the nanny can take the baby to. All typical nursery duties to include cooking from scratch. The nanny will be expected to tidy up the child areas at the end of the day. Nearest tube is South Kensington.
If the nanny can speak Chinese as well as English this would be an added bonus but is not imperative. There may be occasional travel to Europe but again this is not a deal breaker if the nanny does not want to travel.

NW1, Marylebone. A family relocating from USA are seeking a live out nanny for 32 hours per week (Monday to Thursday) . They have one child aged 3. Start March 3rd (initial induction period)
Duties include sourcing appropriate local activities inc playgrounds, museums, libraries, etc and building a network of social activities for her including playdates etc. The parents are keen that the nanny and child do go out and take advantage of the wide range of children’s activities that London offers. Must be able to create and maintain an activity schedule that encourages development. Must be able to prepare nutritious and appetising meals for her, keep the playroom and child’s bedroom clean and tidy and maintain her clothes and toys and it would be appreciated if the nanny was open to helping with light housework such as loading and emptying the dishwasher and processing the family laundry (optional but a huge plus).
For the first two weeks (March 3rd-14th) there will be an induction period working Monday, Wednesday and Friday 9am-12 midday.
From March 17th the hours will be based on Monday – Thursday 8.30-4.30pm. They are happy to guarantee 32 hours per week but would be keen that the nanny is open to a flexible schedule (ie occasionally starting late but working later to balance the hours). They would also like it if the nanny was happy to babysit once or twice per week. If the nanny was happy to travel with the family on an occasional basis it would be an advantage (USA and Europe).
Please note that the family will initially be in temporary accommodation in NW1 (for one month) and then will be in a permanent residence.

The successful candidate will be energetic, enthusiastic, experienced, cheerful and able to liaise with the parents whilst building a strong, loving and supportive relationship with the child, speaking excellent fluent English with good communication skills and knowledge of child development and milestones. Must be able to ensure her safety and security at all times.
